Book Fair
The fair where books are displayed and sold is called book fair. It is held almost every year in the most important places of the country. The book lovers go to this fair. The teachers and the students also go to this fair very much. The poets and the writers also go to this fair. There are many book stalls in this fair where we can see the books of home and abroad. It is a fest (উৎসব) of book. In a book fair different types (ধরন) of books are displayed. To me, a book fair is a paradise (স্বর্গ ) of books. Now-a-days (আজকাল/এখনকার দিনে) it has become very popular. In our country many book fairs are held in different places every year. The two main book fairs are the Ekushe Boi Mela and Dhaka Boi Mela. I was very lucky to visit the Ekushe Boi mela this year. Bangla Academy organizes the most significant book fair on the occasion of the 21st of February.
In a book, fair hundreds of pavilions are set up. All book shots are almost fiction books, textbooks, drama books, children's books, reference books, etc. There are some stalls in the fair where the visitors take relax and take light meals . A book fair becomes crowdy in the afternoon. But it becomes very crowdy in the holiday. It is very useful to us. We can buy books from according to our choice. Besides, we can meet in the fair with the writers and the poets. We can share our ideas with them. It is called store house of knowledge. It gives in us an opportunity of knowledge about the books of home and abroad. By buying books from the book fair we are greatly benefited. It is a component of education, culture, and knowledge development. A book fair is an important arrangement for the betterment of education and spreading knowledge. It reminds us that books are our best friends, it increases our outlook. So we should welcome to its introduction.
