Answer:
Yes, I have visited a bus station last Monday. I went there with one of my friends, Razu. Of course, there are some similarities and dissimilarities between a bus station and a railway station. In case of dissimilarities, a bus stand is a place where buses stop to enable people to get on or get down from them. On the other hand, A railway station is a place where trains stop to enable people to get on or get down from them. A railway station has a platform but a bus station has no platform. A railway station has a station master but a bus station it is absent.
In case of similarities, A bus stand is always a crowded place. A railway station is also a crowded place. In a bus stand, sometimes, there may be found small shops where passengers can buy snacks, betel leaves, newspapers, etc. These are also available in a railway station.
However, I went there to receive one of my friends Robin who came from Sylhet. To receive him we went the bus station one hour ago. I saw many things in the bus station. Some incidents were very interesting to me. I saw different types of vendor hawk their goods in the station. I saw many beggars in the station as a station is a dear place for the beggars. I enjoyed these very much.
But a bus station has some demerits too and I didn't like the incidents while waiting for my friend. It a very noisy and busy place. I saw were rushing to get the tickets from the counter. So there is often a collision among the peoples. Pickpockets are loiter here and there. I didn't liked these at all. Some visuals are giving below for the reasons behind disliking.
