Once there lived a very clever fox in a jungle. One day, when the fox was walking through the jungle, he fell into a trap. He could anyhow to get out of the trap..........................................
A fox without tail
Once there lived a very clever fox in a jungle. One day, when the fox was walking through the jungle, he fell into a trap. He could anyhow to get out of the trap, but he had to lose his tail. Without tail he looked very strange and he felt very sad and ashamed. But the fox was very cunning. He thought and thought and finally hit upon a plan.
He invited all other foxes of the jungle in a meeting. When all other foxes attended the meeting, he said to them, “I have invited you to tell about you a very important discovery (আবিস্কার) of mine.
There is no use of tail in our life. Rather (বরং) it is an extra burden (বোঝা) for us. Without tail I feel myself very light (হালকা). Now I can run faster (অধিকতর দ্রুত) than before. So you all should cut off (কেটে ফেলা) your tails." This speech of the fox elated (আনন্দিত করেছিল) many of the foxes. They said, “You are right. We’ll cut off our tails without wasting time." At that moment one old wise fox stood up and said in anger, “Don’t follow this rogue (প্রতারক/বদমায়েশ). He has lost his tail in a trap (ফাঁদ). Now, he looks strange." Hearing this all the foxes became very angry with the cunning (চালাক) fox. He fled away (পালিয়ে গেল) in fear (ভয়ে) and saved his life.
