Our School Library
A school without a library is like a body without soul. A School Library is a part and parcel of an educational institution. A school library is a place where the teachers and students can read and from where they can borrow books. It is a store house of knowledge. It is the place which can help a student to satisfy his thirst for knowledge.
In our school, we also have a school library. It is
on the first floor of the school building. Our school library is
well-decorated. There are three big rooms in it. The two rooms are reading
room. In the other room books are arranged in almirahs. Boys and girls have
separate room. There are about 4 0,000 books in our library. In our school
library, we have a librarian who is a very nice person. Students can read and
borrow books from the library. For this they are issued library cards. A
student can borrow two or three books at a time and keep them at home for a
week. It remains open from 9.a.m to 5.p.m. Our school library is a great
attraction for us. We cannot think our school without it. We are proud of our
school library.
