The postman
The person who delivers (বিতরণ করা) letters money orders, and other postal articles to the proper addressees (ঠিকানা) is called postman. The postman is the most eagerly (সাগ্রহে) awaited (প্রতীক্ষিত) person to us. He is well known (সুপরিচিত) to all both in towns and villagers (গ্রামবাসী). The postman is a familiar figure to us for his special (বিশেষ) dress. He puts on (পরিধান করা) Khaki dress. He always carries a bag across his shoulders (কাঁধ). Letters and other valuable things are kept in it.
The postman has to do many works. His daily work beings (শুরু হওয়া) in the morning. He goes from one house to another to deliver letters, money orders etc. The life of a postman is not easy. His duty is full of responsibility (দায়িত্ব). He has to be regular in his duties. He does not take rest from his travel . He works just like a machine (মেশিন-যন্ত্র). He goes from house to house in good or bad weather. He is regular, honest conscious (সচেতন) in his duties. The postman is a great friend of the people. He does a very useful work to us. He brings (আনা) us news home and abroad (দেশ বিদেশ). The postman gets a small pay . But his duty is very responsible. So he should be well-paid so that he may perform (সম্পাদন করা) his duty with full attention (মনোযোগ).
