My dear Mofiz,
How are you? I
am keeping well. You wanted to know about the train journey I have made. Now I
am giving you a short description about it.
During the last summer vacation one
of my friends Karim requested me to attend his sister’s marriage ceremony at
Chittagong. So I got a chance to journey by train. I accepted (গ্রহণ করা) this invitation
gladly (আনন্দের সাথে). Two other friends joined me. One the fixed day we reached Kamlapur
station at 7 a.m. I got my seat beside the window. I kept looking outside
through the window. The train was passing through the green fields. Then the
train stopped at a big station. We bought boiled eggs, bananas, magazines etc. The
compartment also offered me a wonderful scene (দৃশ্য). I saw some passengers were
talking on many subjects. Two beggars were asking passengers for help them. At
last the train reached Chittagong at 5 p.m. We got down from the train and saw
my friend at the station. He became very pleased (আনন্দিত) to see us. Then we went with
him by rickshaw. It was the most pleasant (আনন্দদায়ক) journey in my life. I enjoyed the
journey so much that the memory of the journey will remain ever fresh in my mind.
