My dear Sanjana,
This is to say thanks for your last e-mail. You have wanted to know about my village. Now I am giving you a short description about it.
The name of my village is Mominpur. It is under the district of Gazipur. My village is a big one. It is by the side of river. There are about 5,000 people living in our village. Most of them are Muslims. The rest (বাকী) are Hindus. People from different communities (সম্প্রদায়) live here in peace (শান্তি). There are a High Schools, two Primary Schools and a Madrasha in our village. There are two Banks, a post office, a Union Parisad in our village. There is a big market in the middle (মাঝখান) place of our village. Our village has a good communication (যোগাযোগ) system with the thana. The natural (প্রাকৃতিক) scenery (দৃশ্য) of the village is very charming (মরোরোম). It is a lovely little (ছোট) village with many green trees and sweet flowers. Our village is famous for various cultural (সাংস্কৃতিক) activities (কর্মকান্ড) like ‘Jatra’, Jarigan, the boat race. The climate (জলবায়ু) of our village is good for health. It is is an ideal village. I love my village. I am proud (গর্বিত) of our village.
