Vote
Cast in a Peaceful Atmosphere
Khulna,
April 25: People both male and female at Khalishpur polling
centre in Khulna, were seen casting their votes n a peaceful atmosphere. They
were seen maintaining queue to cast their votes without being influenced or
interrupted by any corner.
After a long waiting the 9th parliamentary election was held yesterday across the country expecting it to be free, fair and meaningful. The distinguishing scenario observed in the polling centre was that voters coming to the polling centres seemed to be very enthusiastic.
There was no chaos, disorder or any unexpected
occurrence in the polling centre. One who was coming out of the booth casting
his vote said, “I’ve cast my vote peacefully that I hardly could in the
previous polls.” Another, standing in the queue, said, “In the previous polls
my vote was Cust before my reaching the polling centre. But this time it
doesn’t happen because now we have voter ID.” The process of casting vote also
seemed to be very easy and quick because checking of the voters’ identity was
computerized. The law enforcing agency stood idle as quiet atmosphere prevailed
all along there. On a whole everyone in the polling centre was in a festive
mood. It is expected that the government, going to be formed through this
credible election, would be accepted by all.
