Answer: I think the title is appropriate for the story of “The truthful Dove” because it gives us a strong and a real message of truthfulness. Being a truthful animal the dove occupied a place in the poet’s heart. The dove does not like to flatter like the bat. The dove is a realistic animal. When the bat and owl insisted the dove for flattering on the hospitality of bat, it still kept silent. Finally the owl and the bat did not go unpunished for their act of heartlessness.
The bat can never fly in broad
daylight and the owl is blind as long as the sun is up. On the other hand, the
dove is rewarded for her truthfulness. Her name shall be used by poets as long
as the world lasts to rhyme with “LOVE”. So under the above reasons it can be said that
the title is appropriate for the story of “The
truthful Dove”
