Dear Sir,
We, the students of your school, beg most respectfully to state that our school is one of the biggest schools in our thana. It is a matter of sorrow that there is no debating club in our school. But we feel the need of a debating club. It develops one’s ability to acquire knowledge and skills of speaking. It helps us to speak fluently in Bengali and English. It increases the power of reasoning (যুক্তিবিচার). It also helps one to prepare for the future leadership (নেতৃত্ত্ব). So we keenly feel the necessity of starting a debating club in our school.
May we, therefore, pray and hope that you would be kind enough to set up a debating club in our school and oblige thereby.
