reporter: Recently a science fair was held in Metropolitan
College, Chattogram. Twenty collages participated in the fair. It was a three
day long fair. Local MP along with some local educationists inaugurated the
fair.
In his inaugural speech
the honorable MP said, “There is no alternative to holding a science fair. A
science fair helps a student develop his latent potentialities. It also helps
him do something innovative.”
Dr. Serajul Islam, the
Principal of the college said, “Holding a science fair is very essential. It is
because scientific sage and sagacity of a student is exposed through it.”
After the inaugural
speech of the honorable MP, he visited every stall of the colleges.
Students were very much
cordial in showing the honorable visitors different innovative projects. There
were electric heater with rubber and blade, mosquito killing instrument
operated by dry-cell battery, domestic things like furniture made of
water-hyacinth, energy saving bulbs with silicon, iron made of rod and rubber,
things with waste materials. But the Metropolitan College displayed an uncommon
robot. Every visitor could not but praise the project. I was also very much
impressed by the innovative project. The robot can do every household chore
like a human being.
The project of the
Metropolitan College in Chattogram was declared the best.
Faisal and Farid
discovered the robot. The received first prize and a certificate on behalf of their
college.
The fair ended without
any unpleasant occurrence.
